“Here I am, in all my glory” says Donovan Funk in debut single evoking those days where it can be hard just to get out of bed. The Oklahoma City based artist has worked with musicians all over, performing with Christian Pearson and Smokey Motel, as well as producing for Josh Masterson and Deadweek. 

 

Self produced and recorded in a home studio "In All My Glory" combines clean guitar tones and upbeat percussion that lay a foundation for the edgy vocals and honest lyrics. Donovan Funk gathers inspiration from the likes of Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, and Tor Miller, and uses his writing process as a form of therapy. "I really can't determine how I feel about something until I've put pen to paper, and lyrics to melody" he says.
